Jerome spent 24 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, primarily at the Vancouver Commercial Crime Section. Upon is retirement from the Force in 1999, Jerome has built a successful investigative and forensic accounting practice. His career as a “Mountie” produced many specialized skills to help his corporate and other clients mitigate business risks.

As an economic crime investigator, Jerome developed his expertise investigating intellectual property rights, theft, fraud, embezzlement, corruption and kick-backs, computer crimes, stock market manipulations, asset tracing, asset recovery and money laundering. His investigative accounting skills played a significant role in bringing complex financial investigations to successful resolution.

As a Team Leader of VIP Protection Projects, threat and risk assessments, site security plans and personal protection duties were his responsibility to ensure the safety of Internationally Protected Persons. Of special note, Jerome was the personal security officer to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, sons William and Harry, and other members of the Royal Family, and, was the Residential Site Commander for the Premier of China and his Minister of Foreign Affairs on their visit to Canada.

As a workplace conflict investigator and mediator, Jerome helped the RCMP successfully resolve many internal labour disputes within the rank & file of its members and with the unionized public service employees. Jerome received his training as an “interest-based” mediator and helped establish an alternative dispute resolution system within the RCMP to deal with management-labour issues.

Jerome holds his professional designations of Certified General Accountant from the CGA Associations of British Columbia and Canada and of Certified Fraud Examiner. Jerome regularly lectures to business professionals and corporate executives on the importance of mitigating internal and external fraud risks and incorporating ethics into everyday business activities.
